SPEND SPECIAL TIME WITH FRIENDS FOUR TIMES A YEAR. Do
you fondly remember your own days at camp, laughing with
friends and the fun of doing crafts such as basket weaving,
leather tooling, stained glass, soap making, bead crafts,
or tie dyeing shirts? Hike the trails, sing by the campfire,
go swimming, canoeing and kayaking, playing indoor and
outdoor games, or just plain relaxing with a good book.
This is an excellent opportunity to find your inner child,
explore your creative talents, and challenge yourself
to learn new skills. Come join us at Women's Camp to meet
other women in a welcoming and sharing environment. |

Sign-up by calling Judy Porter. Hiking available in park. Bring your own food and gear. Come for the day or for the weekend. SUMMER SESSION (August 18-24, 2010) $40/night with a three night minimum. This summer both first time and returning campers have a new adventure in store for them at Camp Scelkit, Gerrish Island, Kittery, Maine. On five acres of coastal waters, the camp has two tidal pools, a lodge that sleeps 20, three platform tents, which sleep 4 each, a pavilion, and a small kitchen house. Campers also have the option of pitching their own tents. Swimming is at a sandy beach nearby. Featured crafts this summer are leather tooling, quilling, and basket weaving. Other campers share their crafty ideas as well. We will also plan excursions to nearby attractions. So bring your ideas, your enthusiasm and your gear such as sewing machines, kayaks, canoes, and bikes. FALL SESSION (October 8-11, 2010) $60/session Tentatively Women’s Camp will be at Camp Pondicherry, in South Bridgton in the Lakes Region of Southwestern Maine. Women may also opt to sleep in platform tents. Activities include crafts, hiking, and singing. Friday night is potluck so indicate your choice of food when registering. WINTER
